Easter!

This year for Easter we wanted to take a trip. So we decided to wait to see when I had work off and then plan from there. I got my work schedule and was set to work everyday through the holiday weekend. So we stayed home and did the traditional Easter things.

Dillan Dying his eggs. Cant you tell he is having so much fun?!

We decided to make Raider a green "dinosaur" egg because he is a beast.
So here he is smelling his egg.

Waiting for the eggs to be done :)

Raider was so curious the whole time.

and rolling it around. He thought it was a ball.

 Dont they look great?!

For Easter Sunday we had a few people from Dillans unit over. I forgot to take pictures but we had fun playing croquet and eating lots of food!

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

Fun with the Family

Last Week my brother and his family came down to Georgia to visit us! It was great to have family around, especially one of my little nephews.

I was planning on taking a lot of pictures just so I could blog about the fun things we did, but alas I only took three.

Of the three pictures I took, none of them document anything we actually did, other than ride in the car.

They are all your typical pictures but I find them to be rather cute.

All Smiling :)

This little guy is so much fun. Im glad he came for a visit so he could learn how fun Aunt Hairy and Uncle Dillans house is!

Be Mine!

Valentines Day is definitely not my favorite holiday. Going out to dinner and waiting forever because everything is so busy, having to look for hours to find a gift (cause really, what do you get a guy that doesn't like sweets for Valentines day?), and feeling obligated to make plans because its a "holiday". None of it is my cup of tea :)

So this year, I decided even though it was a dreaded holiday, it was going to be a good day no matter what!

Yes, the day isn't over yet, but its been good so far, so what better time to blog about it.

Sleeping in, playing video games and eating chocolate doughnuts... the morning turned out great!

Then a tradition from my childhood that will live on forever... decorating sugar cookies!
and onto gifts.... the lovely dreaded gifts. Dillan got me a blender and a griddle! We indulged and had a second breakfast that consisted of french toast and orange julius!

We played out side in the dirt and got some lovely 'mustaches'

and took a nice nap.

All while Dillan put together his new BBQ I got him so that we can end a good day with a great night by avoiding all the busy restaurants and having grilled steak at home! Yum!

Hopefully your Valentines was as good as ours!!!

first post in a year!

Well my last post was about a year ago. Far too long. Updates on this past year include surviving a deployment, me moving to Utah during the deployment, moving back to Georgia, visiting Tennessee, and putting up with a needy dog!

While Dillan was gone I shared the bed with Raider. (more like I slept in the corner while he got my pillow)

Raider LOVED the Christmas tree and hung around the tree skirt a lot

Visiting Tennessee was always a pick me up! Love these nephews of mine!

My Dad helped me move to Utah AND Back! We have some Awesome memories from those trips together!

Like this one!

Raider has a new favorite nap place... but only on laundry days!

My posts are not that interesting being that they mainly feature a dog and occasionally the hubby. But hey, it keeps me entertained. Hopefully I can get better at blogging (especially the more interesting things!)

BBQ

Just a few pictures from the other night!

We decided to BBQ some steaks and it was so funny to see how Raider was reacting to it all!

This is the first time we have had a BBQ since we have had Raider. He was right there to see all the action!

There was a lot of sniffing... even though he was not interested in the steaks at all!

A few weeks ago he spilled the bag of charcoal and decided to smash it all into dust! then he decided to walk in it!

He was so confused as to why Dillan kept going inside and coming right back out.

I tried to get a close up of him but he tried to eat the camera instead!

There were smiles all around for this boy!

And he was all pooped out once all the fun was over!

I sure do love my Raider boy!

Goodbye 2012... Hello 2013

Just a little update of what the Warby's have been up to in the month of December! Im sure you all already know, but I will retell the tale again!

The first part of December a few couples from Dillans unit got together and had an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party! We watched Home Alone, played games, and told some funny stories. Well, Dillan was happy to tell a lot of funny stories. We even got a cute picture of the two of us in our 'ugly' sweaters!

Then we packed our bags to head for Utah! We had so much fun with friends and family, time went by way too fast! We went bowling....

This was no ordinary bowling... As you can see in the above picture Dillan is bowling between his legs!

Im not a big fan of bowling... So Aunt Hairy and Cannon spent some quality time together playing at the arcade!

We woke up early on Christmas to open presents!

We played some hilarious Christmas games that one of my creative sister in laws put together!

We read bed time stories!

Had a HUGE Chinese feast

There were smiles ALL around!

It was bittersweet to go back to Georgia...Well more bitter than sweet.

(More pictures to come of us with Dillans family. That will be another post)

2013!

As everyone has been ringing in the new year I have heard everything from, "I hope this year is better than last." and "Wahoo! Its a new year!"

However, I hope this year flies by super fast! There will be exciting and fun adventures in 2013... Like getting a new nephew! (and getting to babysit him!) but I am not looking forward to living without my best friend and other half for 6 months! Lets just say I am already looking forward to next year at this time! :)

Happy New Year Everyone!

Happy Tail

We are back to Georgia after a great visit to Utah for Christmas and the New Year! (Pictures coming soon) The first thing we did when we got back, before we even went home, was went and got Raider. I was so happy to see him.

When I first got him I noticed the white fir on the tip of his tail was really red. The closer I looked at it I realized it was bleeding. After watching it for about a week I realized it was from him wagging his tail in his kennel. After I did some research I found out that when dogs tails bleed from hitting something too hard it its called 'Happy Tail.'

We made a quick trip to the store and when we got back I let Raider out of his kennel. He was jumping around and wanting to play. I noticed there was blood all over my arms. I got him to calm down and noticed that even when he would stand in one spot, blood was dripping from his tail. It had never bled this bad before! I called Dillan in and he wrapped a wash cloth around his tail and duct taped it in place. I know, maybe not the best thing for it but it was the only thing we had right at the moment. After a few hours the blood was coming through the wash cloth! I was so worried about him. We took the wash cloth off. Which consisted of cutting the duct tape off his fur :( and thankfully his tail had stopped bleeding.

Poor Puppy!
